Anyone thinking of starting or currently involved in model jet aviation should look at the Boomerang models. You will be amazed at just how easy it is to build, operate and fly a top performing and great flying jet.
Have a look at the latest version of the well known Baby Boomerang. It's called the Baby Boomerang in the UK or Intro in the USA and has now developed into a really practical and fast to assemble ARF kit for the new generation of small 12 to 15 lb. thrust turbines. From the box to the completed airframe in about 6 to 8 hours of work. The radio and turbine installation is simple too. As for advanced R/C jet pilots, you don't know what an aerobatic jet is capable of until you've flown a Boomerang Jet.
The completely new version of the Big Boomerang, the "XL" is now available. It has fibreglass fuselage and booms with super light built and finished wings. Not only is it stunning to look at but it still has the amazing flight characteristics of the original Boomerang with an even wider speed envelope.
No special knowledge is required. It is simple to build and above all easy to fly. This has been a primary objective of all our designs. If you are new to the exciting world of jet modeling and flying, then start with a Boomerang ARF kit and see just how easy it is to join the jet modelers world. If you are an experienced jet jockey, bored with the same old high speed routine, fly a Boomerang design and revive your enjoyment with stress free aerobatics.
EXCLUSIVE TO ALS HOBBIES
Al's Hobbies are delighted and honored to have been awarded the total exclusive retail sales rights to Boomerang Jets across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. All sales will now be directed through the Al’s Hobbies Jet Centre and dealer enquiries are now welcome. This bold move reinforces the already strong bond between Alan Cardash of Boomerang Jets and Ali Mashinchy of Al’s Hobbies. This will now allow Alan to step back form the retail aspect and concentrate on new designs and developments that have had to take a back seat due to the meteoric success of the Boomerang Jet fleet.

Al's Hobbies are proud to say that they have worked with Alan Cardash of Boomerang Jets from the very beginning. Ali Machinchy junior was asked by Alan to fly the very first prototype boomerang at the BMFA nationals in 2000. In its very first outing in Ali’s hands it won the prestigious BMFA windsock trophy. From there Alan and Ali teamed up demonstrating the Boomerang across the UK, and eventually at a jet meeting in Florida.
It was in America that the Boomerang made its greatest and most important impression. Never before had the U.S. market seen a jet as capable and versatile. To say it blew them away was an understatement.
After another successful trip to Florida the following year Ali suggested to Alan that the time may have come to make this wonderful design available to other modelers across the world.
This was the start of the boomerang legacy. The first (Big Boomerang as it came to be known) was made available as Alan had intended it, as a traditional built up balsa kit. This sold and after two years the first ARTF (Boomerang Intro) hit the market, and this is when things really took off.
Ali has been deeply involved with all the various Boomerang models, not only on the demonstration side of things but also the development and flight testing aspects. This is a relationship that Ali is very happy to be part of, and like the designer he feels a sense of pride when he sees so many of these wonderful jets flying around the world, in the hands of pilots of all skill levels
